How have you been affected by discrimination in your life? I have been severely impacted. Just because it is my fate to be an apraxic and autistic man, without easy means of communication, my needs and rights have been overlooked. It has meant that decades of my life have been spent in a state of limited opportunities and wallowing in unheard misery. This is something I want to change for others like me. I am committed to help youth who struggle to speak with conventional means.
I also feel strongly that social justice is intersectional. I hold the rights of other marginalized groups in my heart. This includes racial justice, women’s rights, disability justice, and environmental justice. Immigrant and refugee rights are particularly important here in San Diego

State of Disunion
Dear Friends, I am so distraught over how many voted for hateful and unethical and greedy forces. It is so painful to my autistic soul.
